Willing to consider this?

We all know that hatred eats at us, and yet most of us still feel completely justified in any hatred we feel. But should we?

Hatred.png

There are, of course, people that do horrible and reprehensible things in the world. There is no way to paint those actions as "good or constructive" in anyway. That said, if we stop there in our thinking, we are likely to have our spirits poisoned by anger and hatred.

We are all ignorant in different ways based on how our life experiences (starting with our childhood years) mix with the unique aspects of our individual intellectual and emotional inclinations. Because of that situation, we can understand that ALL people (no exceptions I think) are trying their best in life.

If that is all true, then we can face ignorant behavior with a gracious sadness rather than the poison of anger and hatred. Doing so is much healthier for ourselves and serves to NOT perpetuate the human history of hatred and all the negative ripples of such feelings.
